Whatley Weston & Fox has considerable experience in drawing up employment contracts and service agreements, advising in connection with employment issues and in dealing with employment tribunals. Most of our work is for small and medium sized companies, and also some large ones, who find the welter of employment legislation and regulation whether emanating from London, Cardiff or Brussels a huge challenge and headache. We also undertake work for employees whether in the dismissal, redundancy or discrimination fields.

Our approach is very much one of prevention rather than cure. We recommend that employers should seek early advice to avoid problems which may escalate into proceedings and regularly to review their contracts and procedures to ensure compliance and good practice. A well drafted and updated employment contract, as with other commercial documents, can avoid disputes or when they arise nip them in the bud. However, we can also leap into action to deal with disputes if and when they arise in the employment tribunals or courts
